Project description:

Retrofit of the control systems, peripherals, and safety technology for the heavy-duty EHB final assembly, Component 12. Retrofit of two body lifts and a distribution cart for supply and removal in the skillet assembly. The entire process technology of the electric overhead conveyor was converted to PROFINET technology. The safety system was changed from electrical shutdown to safe software evaluation using PROFIsafe, then tested and approved. All third-party systems involved in the project were also converted to PROFINET interfaces with PROFIsafe queries. The two body lifts and the distribution cart were the first systems in the plant to be rebuilt according to the new POSS27 standard.
